If you aren’t sure what exactly the design world means when they say “boob light”. I got ya covered. A “boob light” is a catchy term for the dated flush mount light design that features a rounded dome shade (usually glass) with a nob on the end of it (to hold the light in place). Making what looks like, well a boob, hanging from your ceiling. See image below for reference, but be warned you will never unsee a “boob light” from here on out. They are very common and outdated, especially with so many other great options out there to choose from. Luckily, I know the market for a non-boob looking flush mount can be daunting to choose from.
